York Alexander Technique Centre (YATC), (formerly known as York Alexander Technique School), closed the teacher training course which had been at The Gatehouse, York Cemetery. The team of three directors/teachers of YATC, Pam Mason MSTAT and Lesley Glover MSTAT, and myself, while mainly doing one-to one lessons, also occasionally work together, running workshops for Alexander Technique pupils, and for people wanting to find out about the Technique.
Our wonderful, three day Summer School some time ago was fully booked. Participants enjoyed exploring the theme of ‘Understanding and working with the body and whole self to find ease and flow in movement and stillness’.
We are planning to run more two and three day events.
